This course, provided by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), explains the chain of infection and how proper cleaning and disinfection practices along with other mitigation strategies can break that chain. Prevention of infectious diseases like Influenza, RSV, COVID-19, and others in the workplace is critically important to business continuity and reduction in absenteeism. Other topics discussed in this course include risk assessment, the hierarchy of controls, and personal protective equipment or PPE.
